Starting your first trimester at university?
Are you already studying with us and want a refresher or to connect with other students?
You don’t have to do it alone. Join us for a Getting Started Session—a group session where you’ll meet our Tamworth academic and student support staff and connect with other students starting, or continuing, their journey. Build your supportive student network right from the start.
We’re here to support you every step of the way—we’ll walk you through the essentials and show you exactly how we can help you succeed.

✓ Wellbeing and student support available to you
✓ Our range of personalised support options—one-on-one or group, face-to-face or online
✓ Plenty of time to ask questions and connect with our team
Bring your support network. Whether it’s family, friends, or whoever helps you thrive, they’re welcome to join you. We know your support people matter.
Can’t make it, or prefer to join from home? The session will be live streamed and recorded—join us when it suits you, or catch up later.
At UNE Tamworth, we believe starting study doesn’t have to be daunting. Whatever support you need—academic, wellbeing, or a mix of both—we’re here for you.
