Travel Information

Renowned for its laid-back lifestyle and generous hospitality…

…the Tamworth region is a treasure trove of experiences spread across a whopping 9,893km², including Tamworth, Barraba, Manilla and Nundle.

It’s also the perfect spot to base yourself while you explore a bit further afield; whether that’s the New England (Uralla, Armidale, Guyra, Walcha), the North West (Gunnedah and Narrabri), the Liverpool Plains (Quirindi, Willow Tree) or the Upper Hunter (Murrurundi, Merriwa and Scone).

You’re welcome anytime to explore this unique corner of New South Wales.

Cheers to the weekend 🍻

Dogs + Community = ❤️

What a turnout for the race that stops the region - The Great Nundle Dog Race!

It was great to see the heart of Nundle buzzing with pooches of all shapes and sizes, visitors and enthusiastic dog owners 🐾

Thanks to all the wonderful community members and volunteers who continue to put this event on the @destination_nsw map.
