Where rhythm becomes a picture and learning feels like play
Rhythm Works is a high-energy, joy-filled percussion experience that shows students how music can paint pictures, tell stories, and spark creativity. This dynamic duo performance transforms sound into vivid imagery – think lizards scuttling, waterfalls cascading, road trains rumbling, and carnivals bursting into life.
Students are introduced to a range of instruments including African djembes, marimbas, electronic loop machines, Boomwhackers, and even wearable instruments made from PVC pipe. The show is fast-paced, interactive, and packed with moments where students are invited to clap, move, listen, and imagine.
This performance forms part of Musica Viva In Schools, a nationally respected program hosted locally by the Tamworth Con. Beyond performances, schools gain access to curriculum-aligned digital resources and professional development opportunities for teachers. More information is available on our website
