Kootingal & Moonbi
Nestled along the Great Dividing Range are Kootingal and Moonbi. The peaks of the Moonbi Ranges measure in at
1300 metres above sea level. The picturesque but insanely steep incline make this a drive to be remembered.
Due to the close proximity to Tamworth, Kootingal and Moonbi are known as satellite villages to Tamworth.
Located only 15 kilometres apart, the majority of the land surrounding the villages is utilised for agriculture, primarily chicken, egg and lucerne.
