Proudly brought to you by the Tamworth Regional Gallery and Tamworth Regional Council’s Sustainability Team, join Gallery Staff and Friends for a creative Sunday at the Gallery. Inspired by the Japanese repair technique, Shashiko, learn the art of turning rips, tears or stains in your favourite piece of clothing into a beautiful piece of wearable art. Completely hand craft focused, there are no machine required.
When: 11am – 1pm
Age: Open to all ages. Children need to be supervised.
Cost: FREE to attend, all materials provided. Bookings not required, but please bring along an item of clothing or textile to work on.
