Grant has worked across local primary and secondary schools in public and independent sectors.
Grant is currently recovering from throat surgery after rupturing his vocal chords in March 2024.
This journey has led him to discover the importance of vocal hygiene and care strategies, the important of early detection and referral and the options available for local support and referral.
The presentation will include a range of information from Grant’s speech pathologist Dr Cate Madill relating to voice care for teachers in the Tamworth local area.
Grant will also discuss his interaction from the team at Apple and the opportunity to engage with these professionals at a planned seminar in September.
This TamTalk will provide information for school administrators, teachers and health care professionals.
