UNE Tamworth is proud to present a TamTalks event, with a special focus on Farm Succession, featuring two experts in this field who are local to the New England North West region.
Guests will hear from UNE Academic, Dr Lucie Newsome, who lectures in management and economics and has extensive experience in gender equality research and program development.
She will speak about her research into Farm Succession and what prompted her to create Australia’s first farm succession survey.
Dr Newsome will be joined by experienced farm succession planner, Isobel Knight, from the Tamworth Region.
Isobel is a succession planning specialist and has been the owner and a director of Australia’s leading family farm succession planning business Proagtive for more than two decades.
She’ll discuss the importance of planning ahead for the future and how it’s never too early to start.
