Natalia will be discussing our One Book One Region title – 1984 by George Orwell. With themes around misinformation and disinformation, identity in society, and the power of narrative control, Orwell’s dystopian novel has relevance even today. Natalia will walk us through these themes and discuss the longstanding impact the novel has across today and how it has influenced the speculative fiction genre.
