Join the Tamworth Historical Society this Wednesday night to learn about the history of transport in Tamworth. Mike Cashman will speak about the arrival of the train in Tamworth and describe the first cars in the town. We will then hear about the beginning of aviation in Tamworth before hot beverages and a light supper is served.
Everyone is welcome to attend this free event, which will be held at 7pm on Wednesday 15th July at Calala Cottage Museum, 142 Denison Street, West Tamworth.
