Manilla Heritage Museum is having an open day on Saturday 4th October. Royce Cottage, Yarramanbully School and our Machinery Yard will be open.
Royce Cottage, which is the oldest building in the main street of Manilla, houses the collections of Manilla’s cultural and social history. The Museum features many interesting objects reflecting family life from the turn of the century to the 1960’s. So step inside and discover the stories of Manilla’s rich and unique history and heritage.
Visit Yarramanbully School, our one teacher school, built in 1935 and arrived on our grounds in 1977 to celebrate 100 years of Education in Manilla. Closing in 1953 as a bus run was made available for the outlying children to attend Manilla Central.
Wander over to our Machinery Yard and checkout the farming machinery from days gone by or see our new Wool Industry display including our large collection of Wool Presses.
Entry – Adults $5, Concession $4, Children (U12) $2 and Families (2 Adults & 2 Children) $10
