Upper Peel Landcare Group invites you to a screening of the award winning film ‘Just a Farmer’ followed by a panel discussion at Nundle Memorial Hall Supper Room from 2pm on Sunday 17 May 2026. The incredible panel of local voices includes Muster Dogs 2026 participants Ian Worley and Sam Mackaway, Dr Cam Henderson and Nundle community nurse Tammy Shields. The film’ Just a Farmer’ raises awareness about the importance of mental health and suicide prevention in rural communities, and appreciation for farmers. The film portrays a family grappling with loss and observes the, sometimes, silent struggles of farming families and the impacts on rural communities. Importantly, screening events create safe spaces for conversations about mental health and healing.
