Join Herbalist and Nundle local Rachel, to learn the art of herbal & folk medicine manufacture using herbs, beeswax, honey and other simple kitchen ingredients all sourced from the Nundle & Tamworth region. A part of the Taste Tamworth Festival.
Participants will gather their own herbs grown at Oakenville Farm in their permaculture/regenerative garden. These herbs will then be combined with a range of locally sourced products, to make a selection of simple herbal remedies.
Rachel makes and sells her own herbal skincare, ointments, herbal teas and herbal remedies at Oakenville Farm Store where she also practices as a Western Herbal Medicine Practitioner.
