Throw your hat in the ring during Hats Off To Country at this fun-filled community event.
The Hat Throwing Competition runs from 6.00pm to 7.30pm. Simply wear a hat to enter, with unlimited throws available for $5 each. The final takes place at 9.00pm, with the hat landing closest to the jack crowned the winner. Half of the prize pool goes to the winner, with the remaining 50% donated to BackTrack, supporting young people doing it tough through holistic, long-term and flexible programs that help get their lives back on track.
From 7.30pm, join the Cooee Choir for a relaxed community singalong. No singing experience is needed as everyone comes together to perform Take Me Home, Country Roads.
You can also get involved in a series of progressive barn dances. Watch the steps on the big screen, then jump in and give them a go. No dance experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm.
