The multi-talented Chantell Alexi, a resident of Nundle, will be exhibiting her extraordinary art at Gaba-baa Gallery from 12th-28th June. Chantell has been drawing since childhood, developing a passion for portraiture in her teens. However, her art career started in 2014 when she came under the mentorship of professional artist and tattooist, Brush Taylor, who recognised her artistic potential. She completed an apprenticeship in the tattoo industry in 2018. Her lifetime passion is “realism”, inspired by artists who capture the life-force, the essence of people, animals and landscapes within nature.
