Four authors from the New England region are joining us right here in Tamworth! Join us to meet Michael Burge, Sophie Masson, and Brydie O’Shea, moderated by D’Arcy Lloyd. All panel members come from various backgrounds and have produced works ranging from romance to mystery, and series to micro-fictions.
A journalist and author based at Deepwater, Michael’s debut crime novel Tank Water and its recent sequel Dirt Trap explore homophobia and justice in rural Australia. Sophie’s recent novel In The Paris Fashion completes a trilogy of contemporary stories written under the pen name Sophie Beaumont. Brydie’s mystery-themed micro-fiction features in Diving Into Deep Water. D’Arcy is working on a storytelling cycle inspired by the history of a celebrated station in the Matheson Valley between Inverell and Glen Innes. This fantastic opportunity to hear these four in person will bring inspiration, clarity and a wealth of knowledge to all budding authors in the audience!
