Meet author Sally Warriner as she discusses her book ‘Not Just the Wife of the General Manager’, a memoir of one woman’s life on outback stations, and an homage to many unsung women like her.
Written with wit and sass, Sally tells the story of how she was not just the wife but also a nurse, mother, travel agent, social secretary, host and organiser (including Kerry Packer’s New Year’s Eve parties).
The in-conversation author event starts with refreshments at 5.30pm, followed by Sally’s talk at 6pm, ending with audience questions and the opportunity to buy Sally’s books provided by Collins Booksellers Tamworth. Sally is happy to sign copies on the night.
