Exciting news for our Tamworth community! 🎾
Tennis NSW, together with the Office of Sport, Wests Entertainment and Northwest Tennis Academy, is thrilled to launch a FREE All Abilities Tennis Come & Try Day on 17 May at The Courts @ East Tamworth Tennis Club.
As one of our key regional hubs, East Tamworth is on a journey to become a best‑practice venue for inclusive tennis. Ahead of the event, their coaching team will also be completing adaptive coaching training and Sport4All education to ensure programs are welcoming and accessible for everyone.
Thanks to funding from the Office of Sport, we’ll also be delivering a FREE 8‑week All Abilities program block starting May 18, 2026. This multidisciplinary event will support all five disability pathways in tennis and is open to participants of all ages and abilities. We’d greatly appreciate your support in spreading the word across Tamworth and surrounding communities.
