As part of Taste Tamworth Festival, this hands-on workshop invites young creators to design their very own 3D slice of cake sculpture.
With a little more structure while still allowing creative freedom, participants will begin by sketching and planning their cake and plate design before moving into painting and decorating.
Artists will then bring their sculptures to life using colourful paints, glitters, pom poms, textured “icing,” handmade candles and even their own berry toppers and sprinkle creations.
Each finished piece becomes a vibrant mini sculpture – almost good enough to eat!
Participants will also enjoy a delicious mini cupcake from Sweet Petites while creating.
