Seniors Festival in 2024 will be held from 11-24 March. The theme of this year’s festival is Reach Beyond!
Each year, Seniors Festival “celebrates the role and contributions of older adults to our local communities”.
Tamworh Regional Council will be hosting a range of events for seniors – ALL FREE!

Miriidhuul Creations Art and Culture Connection

This will be an afternoon of art and craft and the opportunity to interact with our youth services team to create a collaborative artwork together.
Ngaar Wirribiiyan Elders Pamper Session

Nutrition Education Skills Training
😋 This is a 6-week OzHarvest program running from Thursday 14 March – Thursday 18 April.
The program is free of charge and will be run by trained dieticians and staff from HealthWISE. Along with sharing a meal that participants cook during the workshop, NEST is designed to give hands on experience and teach participants new cooking skills in a safe and friendly environment.
There is a maximum number of 15 participants for each session and participants are encouraged to attend all 6 sessions to gain the full benefits of the program. Places are limited and will fill fast!
