Tim Woodz
On his world tour of the East Coast, Tim Woodz is a quirky storytelling wandering minstel, playing shows between Melbourne and Cooktown. He has supported Tex Perkins, Damian Cowell (TISM) and Jack Davies, performing songs about laundromats, possums, tall trees and backyard cricket in a storytelling style that captures nostalgia and off-beat humour. Becoming a regular favourite at a number of festivals, including Savannah in the Round, BMUP, Townsville folk festival and Wallaby Creek. Tim has a humble showmanship that inspires the type of creativity and excitement that you can take home and heat up for later!
Blake Saban
Blake Saban is the front man and one of the creative forces behind the hardest working roots rock bands in Australia, The Urban Chiefs.
As a solo artist, Blake brings a smorgasbord of sound to the stage. His signature whisky sour vocals complement tales of his life and experiences thus far, underpinned by bluesy slide guitar, psychedelic pedal effects, and the simplicity and beauty of his acoustic guitar.
Blake’s song writing talents, along with his versatile guitar skills and powerful vocal range, have seen the band named in the top 5 Blues and Roots Artists at the 2013 MUSICOZ Australian Independent Music Awards.
With four studio albums with The Urban Chiefs, along with a handful of solo EPs, under his belt, Blake has plenty to sing about. He is an exciting, adaptable and experienced entertainer not to be missed!
Carly Robinson
Carly is a vibrant artist who sings from the heart and is a star in the making. Her songs
explore real life experience and are delivered with enthusiasm and passion.
She’s the real deal”
~ Lawrie Minson
Musician/Producer
“Carly is genuine and uniquely gifted singer songwriter. Her warmth and presence on stage is complimented perfectly by her standout lyrics and ear catching melodic hooks. I was floored when I first heard her, she gently demanded the audience attention.”
From yoga instructing to facepainting and upholstery, Country Music Capital singer-songwriter Carly Robinson grew up surrounded by music.
One of seven children, Carly grew up with a mum who was a singer, encouraging her love of all things musical.
A move from South Australia to NSW in 2007 saw the country-folk artist pursuing her passion more seriously and graduated from The CMAA Academy of Country Music in Tamworth in January 2025.

Writing her own songs for the past 15 years, Carly won 10 hours recording time after winning a talent search with an original song. From this, Carly recorded her debut album, Promise, which was released in 2014, and was asked to support Bill Chambers at his Quirindi concert.

Carly continued to build her love of songwriting by attending The DAG Songwriter’s Retreats and is a regular attendee of Lawrie and Shelley Minson’s songwriting sessions at The Press. Recognising her potential, Lawrie awarded her the John Minson Scholarship to attend the 2025 Academy Senior Course.

When not songwriting and performing regularly throughout the New England region, Carly is kept busy running her upholstery business “AssassinsDesigns”, specialising in caravan and motorhome makeovers and outdoor settings all across Australia. She is also a yoga instructor and provides friendly facepainting services through out the region as a side gig.
Carly is now working on songs for her next recording with plans to release singles to radio in the coming year.
