Join featured exhibition artists Susie Mander & Margaret Westcott for a drawing class designed for all levels—no prior experience needed. Susie & Margaret are exhibiting in ‘Everything the land remembered’ (opening 2 May at Weswal).
This class is suitable for beginners and young people aged over 16 who want to learn how to interpret the landscape with confidence. A mark-making warm up will be followed by time working outside “en plein air” where students will have the opportunity to speak to the artists and receive one-on-one feedback while they work. Students will complete sketched studies to take home with them as reference material they can use to develop a painting or larger body of work.
