Enjoy the work of local students, who recently participated in stop motion animation workshops. Classes were delivered by leading animator Daniel Elliot as School Holiday Workshops during our Winter Holiday Program.
With a focus on numerous elements of animation, students were provided with a fun and engaging introduction to stop motion animation. Participants learnt the fundamentals of storytelling and animation using items and drawings, utilising numerous mediums including charcoal, cut paper and coloured pencils.
Students learnt how to develop their own stories and understand the fundamentals of stop motion animation – most importantly, discovering that the only skill you really need for animation is patience.
Outdoor Gallery
The Tamworth Regional Gallery is excited to deliver digital artwork onto the Outdoor Gallery in Fitzroy St until December 2026.
Each month you can experience a different large-scale art installation created by regional artists and local groups.
