The Gipps Street Sporting Complex is home to two prominent sports within the Tamworth community – Touch Football and Football (Soccer).
As a shared space, the Complex consists of 16 Touch fields and 27 Football fields in the same space, the majority of which is under lights for night time use.
There is also a Firefighters Track – a strip of land specifically designed for and utilised by firefighters for the NSW Fire and Rescue Regional Championships.
The Complex is irrigated using bore water, with a sporting clubhouse and public amenities onsite.
