Winter is the perfect time to stock up on quality winter woollies at Nundle Woollen Mill, whilst connecting with Australia’s wool heritage and exploring one of the last spinning mills in the country.
Locally owned and operated, visitors can join a guided tour to get up close to antique machines as they turn bales of the finest Australian merino wool into yarn, or browse the shop for locally made yarn, clothing and accessories. Located at the Tamworth Visitor Information Centre at the Big Golden Guitar, the Country Music Wax Museum was opened in 1988 by Country Music legend Slim Dusty.
