Looking for your next outdoor adventure in Tamworth? The Victoria Park Precinct is one of the regions most loved destinations, combining stunning natural landscapes, family-friendly attractions, unique wildlife experiences, and some of the best views in the New England North West. Now, with the addition of the new Tamworth Skywalk, there’s even more reason to explore this spectacular corner of the city.

Nestled on the eastern side of the city, the Victoria Park Precinct is home to a collection of iconic attractions including the Oxley Scenic Lookout, Tamworth Marsupial Park & Adventure Playground, walking trails, picnic areas, and natural bushland. Whether you’re travelling with family, planning a weekend getaway, or simply looking to reconnect with nature, the precinct offers something for everyone.

The star attraction is the Tamworth Skywalk, the city’s newest tourism experience. Stretching approximately 1.5 kilometres through the treetops of Victoria Park to the iconic Oxley Scenic Lookout, the Skywalk offers a unique journey through native bushland while showcasing panoramic views across Tamworth and the Liverpool Ranges.

More than just a walking track, the Tamworth Skywalk has been designed as an immersive visitor experience. Featuring elevated boardwalks, viewing platforms, rest areas, interpretive elements, and a striking pedestrian bridge crossing Scenic Road, the attraction combines breathtaking views with a sense of adventure. Capture the perfect photo, enjoy a morning walk, or simply take in the sights and sounds of the surrounding bushland.

Visitors can enjoy the same rewarding climb to Oxley Scenic Lookout in a safer and more engaging environment, separated from vehicle traffic and closer to the natural surroundings.

The Tamworth Skywalk is just one part of the wider Victoria Park Precinct, which is packed with experiences for visitors of all ages.
