DESCRIPTION:Creative Play is back for Term 1!\n  \nTamworth Regional Gallery will be welcoming our smallest members of the community into the Esther Halliday Studio and the Gallery for a series of creative and sensory classes on a Tuesday and Thursday morning! \nFacilitated by our art educators\, children and parents/caregivers will explore art-making activities together. Including drawing\, painting\, paper craft\, sculpture and more. \nCreative Play will run for an eight-week term starting from Tuesday the 11th of February – 1st of April 2025. \nWith two class options available: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10am. \nFor Term 1\, there are two booking options – book for the term\, or simply turn up to the session you wish to participate in\, with payment able to be made at the Front Desk of the Gallery at the conclusion of the session. \n  \nCost: $35 for the term\, or $5 per class\, payment can be made at the Front Desk of the Gallery on a class-by-class basis. \nAge: Inclusive of ages 0 – 6 years. \nTime: 30 mins per session\, 10am-10:30am. \nDates: Each Tuesday and Thursday\, starting on the 11th of February until the 1st of April 2025. \n  \nThe Gallery is fully accessible and offers free parking at the rear of the building. \nIf you have any questions about Creative Play or any programming please contact the friendly gallery staff.\nPhone: (02) 6767 5230 or email gallery@tamworth.nsw.gov.au

DESCRIPTION:Tamworth Mountain Bikers hosts twilight mountain bike racing every Wednesday evening from 5:30pm during term 1 and 4 at the Tamworth Mountain Bike Park!\nTwilight racing is a great family friendly activity that the whole family can enjoy! From kids on their first wheels to grandparents and every age and ability in between! \nTamworth Mountain Bikers have implemented a grading system unique to our park and specific to the twilight race series. We design race loops and duration relevant to the skill and fitness level for each grade. \n\nElite\nA Grade\nB Grade\nC Grade\nRecreational\nDirtmaster (U13)\nGravity Groms (our youngest riders on their first pedals and balance bikes)\nE-bikes and Adaptive Bikes\n\nSchedule\n\nRegistration and check-in from 5:15pm\nGravity Groms (first bikes) and Dirtmasters – 5:35pm\nRace briefing – 6:05pm\nMain race – 6:15pm\n\nJoin us for a social dinner after the main race. $7 per person or $25 per family. \nEntry Cost\nAll riders require an AusCycling Race Off-Road licence or an AusCycling Race All Discipline licence to race. If rider is not an AusCycling member then a $30 per day race licence will need to be purchased on top of the below costs. \nAusCycling offers a free 4-week trial licence. The entrance at the bottom of the hill is accessible via foot and bike at the end of the TRC cycleway.
