Drop the kids off for 5 hours each day\, and they will have plenty of opportunity to learn\, play and improve their skills with dedicated\, experienced artistic educators; a wide array of high quality artistic resources and materials; access to fresh air and exercise in a grassy courtyard\, and opportunities to socialise. \nKids will have the option to attend 6 different workshops from 4 professional artists over the two days. \n  \nThis Art Camp’s specific workshop details will be coming soon. Previous Art Camps have included: \n  \nKite Making \nSculpture \nFlip Book Animation \nPaper Puppets \nOutdoor Painting \nManga \n& More \nWe understand that not every class is for every kid\, and so kids also have the option to… \n  \nChoose Your Own Adventure \nUse the schools resources\, such as figures\, books and materials\, to make a masterpiece your own way\, while enjoying the company of other little artists and guidance of the teaching artists. \n  \nExercise Breaks & Games \nWe understand kids can only concentrate for so long at a time – so\, every hour and a half\, we give them the chance to completely forget what they’re doing\, and run and play outside for twenty minutes or so. We will also occasionally run exercise and drama games throughout the breaks. \nFood \nLight food provided\, such as sliced fruit and bottled water. \nKids to bring their own lunch. \nTeachers on the two days: \nDanny Stanley \nSophie Honess \nLogan Hughes \nAva Clay \nLocation \nAll Tamworth Art Academy classes are held in the Britten Room at the heritage-listed Tamworth Community Centre. The large room is comfortable and air conditioned\, with a kitchenette\, and access to a large\, grassy courtyard for breaks. This room contains art materials\, as well as art books and classical and cartoon figurines for inspiration.
