Aligned with her exhibition Nest of the Whistling Kite, contemporary regional artist Maree Kelly hosts three consecutive workshops focussed on learning the essential elements of landscape paintings.
These workshops are suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists looking to refresh their skills. Participants will learn about composition, colour theory, and perspective, providing a strong foundation for developing their painting skills. A great opportunity to enjoy to extend creative skills in a supportive environment.
Maree is a landscape painter from Gunnedah who works from her studio on the family farm, located near the village of Curlewis. She holds tertiary qualifications in environmental science and art, and draws on her knowledge and experience in both fields to create artworks that reflect her passion for the environment and her deep connection to and understanding of the landscape.
Free accessible parking available behind the Gallery (via Peel or Hill Street).
All art materials provided, ages 14+ and a limit of 16 places.
