2007 Tamworth Region Economic Performance Report - This document is the first report in an annual reporting framework on the state of the Tamworth Region economy.  It is a summary document and includes information on seven key indicator areas:  population, employment, business activity, construction activity, vehicle registrations, tourism and property.  The document can be read as a whole but each page comprises a standalone briefing note on one area of economic performance.  The data used here is the best and most recent available and is sourced from Federal and State agencies.

Tamworth Community Profile - The Tamworth Region Community Profile provides a detailed online profile of the Tamworth region at the municipal level and for smaller communities within it.The profile enables analysis of local community characteristics and how they have changed over time. It also allows you to compare one area to another. The data also includes Development Application information.

Tamworth Regional Profile 2004 - ABS - The National Regional Profile  presents a brief statistical summary of key economic and social information. It includes data from a variety of ABS and non-ABS sources. Broad indicators include Estimated Resident Population, some Census data, Births and Deaths, Unemployment, Income Support Customers, Taxable Income, Building Approvals, Motor Vehicle Sales and Agriculture.

BTRE Industry Employment Profile - The Industry Employment Profile contains data on the industry structure of employment for statistical local areas and BTRE-defined labour market regions for 1991, 1996 and 2001. Contents have been derived by BTRE using unpublished data from the ABS Census of Population and Housing for 1991, 1996 and 2001.

Population Growth 1996 - 2006 - ABS - This spreadsheet contains estimates of the resident population of Local Government Areas of Australia for June 30 of each year from 1996 to 2006, according to the 2006 edition of the Australian Standard Geographical Classification (ASGC). Estimates for 1996 to 2001 are final, estimates for 2002 to 2005 are revised (r) and estimates for 2006 are preliminary (p).
