Transport

Being a major regional centre, the Tamworth region is very well positioned for transport options. We are perfectly placed midway between Sydney and Brisbane on the New England Highway making it an easy drive from either city.

Tamworth railway station is very close to the CBD with trains daily to Sydney. For train times click here.

Tamworth is also well serviced by interstate buslines, which can be boarded at the Tourism Tamworth's Visitor Information Centre (built in the shape of a guitar!). For Greyhound bus timetables click here.
